Hello! I’m the Director of Media Relations at the National Domestic Workers Alliance, where I lead press strategy for national and local campaigns at the intersection of labor, immigration, gender, and racial justice.
Previously, I served as Senior Press Officer at Amnesty International USA, a global movement of people fighting injustice and promoting human rights. While at Amnesty, I led on media strategy around asylum and refugee issues at the US-Mexico border, while also securing press coverage for human rights issues around the world.
I’ve also directed strategic communications for the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and developed communications strategy for the United Kingdom in Florida, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
I have a proven track record of securing press coverage for global and national campaigns, training senior executives and policy experts as spokespeople, and writing compelling op-eds for publication in top media outlets around the country.
Outside of work, I sit on the Board of Directors of ASISTA Immigration Assistance, an organization advancing the dignity, rights, and liberty of immigrant families who have survived violence. I also serve on the Board of Directors of CentroNía, an institution providing affordable, quality bilingual education and support services to children and families in the DC metropolitan area.
I earned a Master in Public Administration (MPA) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Literature at Florida International University.
